For the sixth year in a row, Miller Lite Free Rides® will return to Louisville on Derby Eve, providing safe transportation to help residents and visitors celebrate responsibly.

The Original Lite Beer is teaming with the Transit Authority of River City (TARC), Kentucky Derby Festival Derby Eve Jam and River City Distributing to provide the free service throughout the city on Derby Eve.
Miller Lite Free Rides will be available after 6 p.m. on Friday, May 2 on all regularly scheduled TARC bus and trolley routes, and a special trolley service which will run every 10 minutes on the Main-Market route, just south of Waterfront Park. The free service will travel to popular restaurants, bars, and neighborhood events, including the Kentucky Derby Eve Festival Derby Eve Jam concert at Waterfront Park.
“Miller Lite Free Rides makes it easier and safer for residents and visitors to celebrate Derby Eve,” said J. Barry Barker, executive director of Transit Authority of River City. “We encourage everyone to take advantage of the free bus and trolley service on Derby Eve and hope they’ll continue using TARC service throughout the year.” Additional route and schedule information is available by visiting, texting “FREE RIDES” to 90464 or calling 1-800-FREE RIDES (1-800-373-3743).
